Inquirers' Class

New members from Spring of 2008The Inquirers' Classes at Fairmount Presbyterian Church offer the opportunity for those who are considering membership to learn about the Presbyterian Faith and about this church's rich history, its beliefs and its dynamic vision for the future. Fairmount Presbyterian Church is a congregation with open doors where all God's children are welcomed and encouraged to explore the meaning of faith and spirituality in their lives.

Therefore all are invited to join us at the Inquirers' Classes offered throughout the year. It does not matter whether you are 100% convinced of your beliefs; if you are struggling with questions about religion and moral values in our society; if you are a seeker or if you are simply looking for a church home where you can worship and serve. There is a place for you in our church community and we would like to get to know you and give you a chance to meet our pastoral staff and other church members at the Inquirers' Classes.

The Inquirers' Class is a prerequisite for those seeking membership. Child care is provided upon request. Lunch is also provided at the Manse. You only need to attend one class. Those who choose to join the church are received by the Session of the Church and introduced to the congregation on the New Member Sundays listed on this page.
