Around the Table of the Lord, God's people are in communion with Christ and with all who belong to Christ. As we practice this holy sacrament at Fairmount every week at the early service and on the first Sunday of the month at the later service, the Care Council is very aware that there are many who are not able to come to the table because, for whatver reason, they are unable to come to worship.
We don't want any members of our community to miss this opportunity to be filled by God's Spirit around Christ's table. To help meet this need, the Care Council has formed Home Communion teams who will go out to serve communioon on the first Sunday of each month. These teams, led by Pastors, Elders and Deacons, will visit church members and spend a short time fellowshipping before enjoying the sacrament of communion together.
If you would like to help serve home communion, or if you know someone in our community who would like to receive home communion, please contact the office.
